Quitman ISD will be closed on Friday, February 4th, due to worsening weather conditions. Stay Safe!
Due to the forecasted winter weather on Thursday, February 3, all QISD campuses and offices will be closed on Thursday. All extracurricular activities for Thursday, February 3 are also canceled.
A decision regarding school closure for Friday, February 4th will be made on Thursday.

Public Notice
The Quitman ISD is now planning for the Gifted and Talented Education program for the 2022-2023 school year. The G/T program is designed for students with exceptional intellectual and creative thinking abilities. Anyone wishing to nominate a student attending Quitman ISD in kindergarten through eleventh grade is asked to go by the school office and request a copy of the nomination form. This form must be returned to the school by March 23.

Este programa esta disenado para los estudiantes con capacidades intelectuales y creatividad excepcional del pensamiento. Cualquier persona que desee nominar a un estudiante que asiste a Quitman ISD desde Kinder hasta el Onceavo grado se le pide que vaya a la oficina de la escuela y solicite una copia de la forma. These six G.T. students will represent Quitman Elementary today at the Mathletics competition at the Academic Rodeo in Tyler. They have worked hard and are ready to make Quitman proud.

These 3 G.T. Bulldogs are headed to the Academic Rodeo in Tyler today. They will be competing in the Agricultural Identification contest. They have worked very hard to get to this point and are ready to represent Quitman well!
This month's school board meeting has been moved from the 17th to the 24th. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.

Federal Report Card
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires each State education agency to prepare and publish an annual report card with state-, local education agency (LEA)- and campus-level data. The Federal Report Card data for 2020-2021 are now available.
Quitman ISD is sharing this information about the district and your child’s campus with you as part of its obligations under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA).
