This week is our first football game. Although it is out of town, we will have a pep rally to kick off the season since we don’t have a home ballgame until OCTOBER. So, this week’s spirit dress is, “ Hawaiian Day,” as we lay out the lions of Union Grove.
We will remember our country’s attack on 9/11 on Wednesday as we dress up for Patriot’s Day, wearing red, white, and blue in honor of those that perished and those left to carry on after the 9/11 attacks on our country.

Some students in Mrs. Hipp's 6th-8th STEM class experienced a challenge today. Their task was to try and create the tallest free-standing tower using spaghetti noodles, a marshmallow, and a yard of tape. The students gained a better understanding of the engineering design process by designing, building, and testing their prototype.
