Mr. Nikia Smith, with Longview PARTS (Parents & Adolescents Recovery Treatment Services), was on campus today talking to our junior high school students about the dangers of vaping. Special thanks to Melanie Whitehurst at Wood County Juvenile Probation for recommending Mr. Nikia Smith as a speaker! Mr. Smith presented in an entertaining way a very serious and relevant topic to today's teens.

We do not have a girls’ sports event this week, but we will have a football game in Alba-Golden Thursday. Thursday’s spirit day is Costume Day. Remember that all costumes need to be within dress code, masks are not allowed, but face painting is okay as long as it goes along with the costume.
