
The TSI test will be offered after school on 3 dates in March: 3/3, 3/12, 3/30. If your child wants to take dual credit courses next year, they MUST be TSI satisfied.The cost is $35 and the test will begin at 3:30. Email me to sign up: eldredb@quitmanisd.net

Coach Wade and his wife, Megan, are expecting their second child, a son, later this spring. Faculty members took some time this afternoon and showered him with diapers!



QISD will be closed on Friday, February 14th for a scheduled Staff Development Day. Classes will resume as scheduled on Monday, February 17th.

Health Science students attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler Pre-Health Conference sponsored by AHEC and SUPERNet. Students had the opportunity to listen to speakers from various healthcare careers and speak with vendors from many East Texas colleges promoting their healthcare programs.

QISD will be hosting the movie "SCREENAGERS: Growing Up in the Digital Age" tonight (Feb. 10th) at 7:00pm in the QHS Auditorium.
SCREENAGERS is a documentary that explores the impact of screen technology on kids and offers parents and families proven solutions that work.

Softball games scheduled for today (Feb. 10th) at Mt. Vernon have been cancelled due to wet field conditions.

Mrs. Emerson’s Pharmacy Tech students recently toured ProTec Laboratory. ProTec is a local manufacturer who specializes in producing liquid gels, tablets, powders, liquids, creams, and flavor systems. Fascinating tour!
