Several junior high students were recently selected to attend a "Bulldog Pride" field trip to Grand Slam in Tyler on January 12th. Students had to meet certain criteria to qualify for the field trip.
Selection criteria are as follows:
Grades --
- No student may have a report card grade below an 80 in any class.
Discipline --
- Students are allowed only one (or less) after school detention.
- Students are not allowed to have any "U" (unsatisfactory) conduct grades.
- Students are not allowed to have spent any time in ISS, OSS, or DAEP.
Attendance --
- Students are not allowed to have any unexcused absences and two (or less) excused absences per grading period.
Fines --
- Students must not have any library, cafeteria, or Chromebook fines.
Students will be treated to lunch and a movie. Students will also be allowed to play games in the arcade with their own money. Congratulations to all students who qualified. Great job!
