Area Churches and Businesses joined together to provide QISD employees with breakfast and other treats such as iced coffee, folders, pens, etc. Quitman Mayor Randy Dunn started off by welcoming QISD employees to the breakfast and shared a few words about the community. Community ministers also took to the podium to share words of encouragement with the QISD family. Mrs. Rhonda Turner, QISD Superintendent, then welcomed new employees to the QISD as well as recognizing others in attendance. Mrs. Turner later stated "The teamwork our local churches, businesses and individuals, as shown here today, is what makes our community a great place. A great place to live, shop, dine, and work. A great place to attend church, a great place to raise a family, a great place to go to school. Simply put, our community is a great place to be. On behalf of myself and QISD, I would like to thank everyone that contributed to making the community breakfast a success"
