Quitman ISD kicked off its annual CASA "Coins for Kids" campaign today. The campaign will run from today, April 3rd, through Friday, April 14th. All campuses will be participating. Each campus will have various rewards and prizes for the most coins collected per grade level and per campus
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is in its sixth year hosting the event. Per their website (https://casaforkidsofet.org/ev...), the event was created to partner with schools, raise public awareness, and to raise funds to help fulfill their mission. Their original campaign in 2018 began with only three schools, but has expanded over the years to reach almost two dozen schools within this region for this year's campaign.
