In November of 2018 Paradise Elementary School in California was in the path of a wildfire and was totally destroyed. Students at Quitman Elementary went in to action and started collecting monetary donations for Paradise Elementary. QES students collected over $3000 and sent it to Paradise Elementary. Below is the letter of thanks that was dent to Quitman Elementary thanking them for their kindness.
