Quitman Elementary 4th grade students showcased their singing talents Tuesday night, October 12th, performing a program entitled "Best Self, Best Work, Best World." Choir teacher Katrina Morrow said that she chose this themed program "so we could remind ourselves to be the best we can be in every situation." She continued, "Be our best, do our best, and help make this world a better place."
Morrow started working with the students on this program at the beginning of the year. She stated that she hopes the students continue to learn to "do their best in every situation they are in." She added that she hopes that they will always strive "to be the best person they can be."
Each grade at the Elementary School will be featured throughout the school year. On November 9th, the 5th graders will be performing "Songs of America." The 3rd graders will then host a Christmas musical on December 7th. Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders will each have a special night during the spring semester.
"The 4th graders did a great job last night, and I am very proud of them," said Morrow.
Great job!
